Here’s something to think about: if you were a cartoon character, what outfit would you be drawn in? Usually the animators don’t allot money in the budget to draw new outfits for every episode- so why should you? We’re talking a different kind of budget now and it’s a little more metaphorical.
Dial it back.
People like to bring up Mark Zuckerberg’s hoodie and his same-outfit-everyday wardrobe. There’s two ways of looking at it- some like to attribute the hoodie to his success, and others try and tear him down for not “looking the part.” Both schools of thought are incorrect. It’s not about the clothes themselves, but about simplifying your most basic decisions.
It’s about redistributing your energy into what actually matters.
