Every year SXSW gets better. It’s the ultimate place to meet people from other industries who are as passionate about what they do as you are about what you do. You can connect with old friends and make new ones. Every year I learn something new, oftentimes I learn lots of new things. I’ve watched the trends change over the years and I always like to do a SXSW recap, but this year there was so much going on that I had to do SIX recaps. Here’s a recap of my sxsw recaps 🙂

LinkedIn burst onto the SXSW scene this year with the LinkedIn studio, a lounge where you could learn about LinkedIn, get a profile pic, and ‘Rock Your Profile’ with the pros. Check out my story on CMS Wire.
5 Takeaways From SXSW 2019
LinkedIn went way bigger, everyone was riding scooters, cannabis and crypto were finally represented, and the Mercedes TechSet Lounge was a lifesaver. Also, mental health tech was out in force, and that’s going to be the next big thing. Check out my roundup on WebProNews.
The Power Of Gratitude
Your network is awesome and you should really be thankful for it. My goal for this year was to help as many people as I could without expectation of return. Learn more on Grit Daily.
Did I Mention Cannabiz?
The business of cannabis is on fire right now, and it showed in the cannabiz presence at SXSW. Here’s my recap on Hackernoon.
Tech for Good
Tech for good was a major theme this year at SXSW. Learn more about it on my recap on Hackernoon.
It’s Never Too Late To Start Prepping For Next Year
